Driving
As a destination, choose Stanley -- our starting point -- or Salmon, where the trip ends. You may leave your car in Stanley, and from Salmon at the end of the trip take a spectacular charter flight over Idaho's Wilderness area back to Stanley (see charter flight services below). Or, you could leave your car in Salmon and fly to Stanley to begin the trip. Also, we can arrange to have your car shuttled from Stanley to Salmon while you're on the river.
 Flying
Several commercial airlines fly to Boise , Idaho . From there you may take a beautiful charter flight over the headwaters of the Salmon River , following its flow to the town of Stanley . At the trip's end in Salmon you may once again be flown back to Boise.
